Neta District DE
Education: 2007 graduate from Hiram College with a Bachelor of Arts in
Biomedical Humanities and a minor in Biology. During the summer of 2006 I
researched the use of microwaves in enhancing the production of the plant
hormone indol acetic acid. At Hiram I presented my senior seminar entitled "A
Superhero In Training." I also studied abroad for part of my junior year in
Italy.
Scouting History: I earned the Eagle Scout award in 2002 from Troop 143
of Carrollton. I have also earned my 5th year pipestone from 7 Ranges and 2nd
year thong award from Camp Manatoc I have been involved with scouting since
joining as a Tiger Cub.
Fun Stuff: I love traveling to Washington DC and New York. My favorite
books are American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis and Wonderful Wonderful Times by
Elfriede Jelinek. Regarding movies, just give me anything with with a sarcastic
tone, or an independent film, and I'll love it. I enjoy driving, especially
Jeeps and Land Rovers. My favorite chain restarant are Carrabbas or Maggiono's,
but the best food ever is this little deli in Carrollton, called Happy Hollow
Farm Market. During college, I would leave campus and drive to Carrollton
(almost a 2 hour drive) just for 'the Hollow.' Little known facts, I have over
50 pairs of shoes. My favorite animal is the Giant Panda, but on the domestic
side, dogs definately win that spot. My family has 3 dogs, Muffin, Beau, and
Benjiman. I have an older sister, Bethany.
