Jim Elco has been actively involved with the Cub Scout program of Pack 95 sponsored by St. Joseph Parish in dover, Ohio, for the past 15 years. During this time, he served in all Pack roles: Tiger Cub Coach, Den Leader, Webelos Leader and continues to serves as Cubmaster of Pack 95. Jim's service has extended to other Packs, in his assistance with Pinewood Derby races. For the past 3 years, Jim has set up, coordinated, and scored District pinewood Derby races held at New Towne Mall. Jim has been instrumental in working with District Roundups, serving as Chairman of the District Membership Committee for the past two years. Jim has served as a member of the district training team. James Elco continutes to serve Netawotwes District Scouts and Scouters as demonstrated by his long-term commitment of offering quality programming to youth. When you need a helping hand, Jim is always willing to assist and help. Jim and his wife, Mary, a former racehorse trainer and current birthright volunteer reside in New Philadelphia, and will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this may. They have two children: son JOhn "Jack", age 21, a Tenderfoot Scout currently a Cadet First Sergeant in teh Army ROTC at Bowling Green State and daughter Katie, age 14, a cheerleader at New Philadelphia also playes the flute and drives the boys crazy. Jim is a Product Development Engineer with Robin Industries Inc in Berlin, Ohio.
Robine Renner has been an active member of the Netawotwes District Scouting community, serving both unit and district Scouts and Scouters. She currently serves as the Chartered Organization Representative for Pack adn Troop 181 sponsored by the first Presbyterian chruch in New Philadelphia. Robine has served Pack 181 and Pack 573 as a Den Leader, Webelos Leader and Committee Chairman; and Pack 181 as Cubmaster. She served on the District Training team for over five years, and participates a s amember of the Cub Scout Day Camp staff. Robine has also served as co-chairman of the District Recognition Dinner, as well as a member of the Buckeye Council's Lad-n-Me Staff. Awards and Honors earned by Robine include Fifthe Year Camp Honors Award, Den Leaders Training Award, Webelos Den Leader Award and the Cub Scouter Award. Robine Renner ahs continued to demonstrate the tradition of the Schwartz Family in servin Netawotwes Scouts and is the third member of the Schwartz family to receive the District Award of Merit. Her father, Roger Schwartz and brother Robert Schwartz have also been recipients of the Award of Merit. Robine and her husband, Dave, reside in New Philadelphia. They have two children: daughter Michele; and son, David - a Life Scout and Private First Class in the Army National Guard. Both children are following in the footsteps of Robine as they are all managers at Dominos Pizza.
